Company Snapshot

Arosa is a national provider of home care and care management services for older adults and their families. Led by Ari Medoff since 2012, the company has differentiated itself through a workforce-first model that prioritizes care professional satisfaction, stability, and career advancement. Arosa’s services pair each client with a dedicated Care Manager who serves as a trusted advisor and advocate, coordinating medical care, managing transitions, facilitating family communication, and navigating complex aging-related needs. Clients experience a highly personalized, concierge-style care plan that integrates daily living support with clinical oversight, promoting independence, safety, and peace of mind for both clients and their families. In an industry marked by high turnover and fragmentation, Arosa stands out as a model for how home care can thrive by investing in its frontline teammates and delivering consistent, high-quality, high-touch support.

Investment Overview

HCAP Partners invested in Arosa in 2018 to support the launch and growth of a national platform through the merger of Arosa and LivHOME, two regional providers with mission-aligned leadership. The investment was completed in partnership with Bain Capital Double Impact, with HCAP bringing a unique focus on operational engagement and its Gainful Jobs Approach™ to improve job quality and drive scalable, sustainable business outcomes.

Value Creation & Strategic Milestones

HCAP worked closely with Arosa’s leadership to embed a focus on high-quality jobs within its business strategy to deliver quality care and win market share. Together, through the Gainful Jobs Approach™, they built a Strategic Roadmap that addressed talent strategy, growth optimization, and cultural alignment across an organization working in a variety of communities across 13 states. As a result, Arosa achieved significant job quality improvements at the time of exit, according to HCAP's Gainful Jobs Approach framework. The entire effort was grounded in Arosa’s core values, including a deep sense of gratitude for caregivers, clients, and the opportunity to build a business that values people at every level.

HCAP brought more than capital. They had real experience with distributed frontline workforces—from senior living to wellness and multi-location health care providers—and they helped us operationalize job quality at scale.
