Chenjing Wang

Senior Associate

Chenjing joined HCAP Partners in 2023, bringing over 8 years of experience in investing, banking, and underwriting. At HCAP, she assists with originating, structuring, closing, and monitoring equity and debt investments across the U.S. market, with emphasis on healthcare, technology, and services. She serves as a Board Observer at several HCAP portfolio companies.

Prior to joining HCAP, Chenjing was on the credit team at Morgan Stanley, covering corporate and real estate debt transactions as well as fund-level equity investments. Before Morgan Stanley, she led a team at Santander and worked on underwriting, origination, and portfolio management across a broad range of equity and debt transactions. Chenjing began her career at a regional impact fund, where she supported deal execution and due diligence. Beyond her investment work, Chenjing is a Board Member of Columbia Venture Community, and a Committee Member of both Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) San Diego and the Greater Newark Enterprises Corporation.

Chenjing holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where she was named to the Dean's Honor List and served as a Private Equity Program Fellow and a Value Investing Teaching Assistant. She also holds an M.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.A. with High Honors from China University of Political Science and Law.
